January is a time for new beginnings and an accepted month for starting anew. Since the weather is not amenable for outside activity, it’s a good time for indoor activities like knitting. Or cleaning up the house, or the blog. To combine the two, I knitted a pile of new dishcloths from leftover yarn in the stash. Clean knitting!

I used a pattern from Ravelry, which is in my Ravelry project folder for the dishcloths. (https://www.ravelry.com/projects/AnniZknitter) All of the yarn was cotton but it came from a variety of sources. The orange and white cloth is now nicknamed “The Volunteer” in honor of our home state Tennessee Volunteers. They’re very popular colors here!

In regards to blog cleaning, this post marks the first at the new website location. It took about two weeks to transfer all of the old knitting blogs from Still ‘round the corner. Part of the hassle was that the images had to be found and re-uploaded into this site. I’m sure I’ll be doing more tweaking over the next few weeks as I get the hang of the new theme.
Now, back to the cleaning!
