This month’s newsletter turned out better than expected. July didn’t leave behind as many finished things as I thought. Instead, it left something more useful, namely a clearer idea of what I want to do next.
In this issue, I’ve gathered the evidence—art experiments, loose drawings, the beginnings of a gouache landscape, and the older story fragments that became A Key for a Broken Song. I’ve called it Foundations and Frameworks because it’s my record of clearing space, testing what holds, and doing the work before the finished work appears.
