2026 Post Script: I wrote several blog posts in 2021 that were lost when I transitioned the blog from annettezimmerman.com to realmscapes.world. I’ve been able to find the images that were in the posts, but not the actual posts themselves. For my own archive, I’m posting the images here with what I can remember about the post.

February 2021

8 Feb 2021: I tried to capture my idea of the Ravenclaw knitting room
18 Feb 2021: I practiced using Steven B Reddy’s technique of applying thin washes of India ink under watercolor
18 Feb 2021: A drawing study using only pen and layers of India ink for tone.
11 May 2021: I was full on into practicing illustration.

May 2021: I bought the Laws Guide for birds and did some studies in a large sketchbook

More bird studies and a random flower attempt.
