Sketches from Cumberland Mountain State Park

One of our favorite places to camp/RV/overnight is Cumberland Mountain State Park. It has a pretty little lake with a paved walking path, lots of hiking trails through the woods, and a choice of “modern” and historic cabins or RV and tent camping spots to choose from.

I wish I could capture how beautiful it is in my sketchbook. But I still enjoy sketching little vignettes of things I see there. Each little drawing reminds me of my time there and spending a few minutes of my day to really look at what’s around me helps me enjoy it even more.
