October brought plenty of paid work, a few days of camping, pencil studies, and a chance to teach sketchbook-making with FADE. Somewhere among it all, something clicked: the part of me that enjoyed engineering also enjoys making art. Figuring out a composition, testing possibilities, and planning a piece are part of the fun.
November’s Dispatch, Coming Together, looks back at that discovery and the balancing act that helped me get through a busy month with some energy left. Inside are sketchbook pages, lessons learned, and a few doodles added along the way.
